The solution

wwwarcelona designed and developed the new website of the Barceloneta Athletic Swimming Club, responding to the needs of an institution with intense activity and a very active community. A platform that simultaneously manages institutional communication, the agenda of activities, information on the sports sections and services to members. A project of great organizational complexity that was solved with methodology, experience and a deep knowledge of the club’s needs.

The Barceloneta Athletic Swimming Club (CNAB) is one of the most emblematic and historic sports institutions in Barcelona, with a community of members and athletes that represents the best of water sports in the city. wwwarcelona has been providing service to its digital presence for more than a decade, a relationship of trust that is, in itself, the best guarantee. After years of use, the club’s website needed a profound renovation: a new visual identity, updated content architecture and a platform that would allow the internal team to quickly communicate all the club’s activities, news and services.

Product strategy and functional design

The new design, worked on in Figma, is modern, clean and representative of the institution: a website that conveys the tradition and prestige of the club while projecting a contemporary and accessible image. The visual architecture facilitates navigation for very diverse profiles — members, athletes, families and visitors — while always maintaining the coherence of the brand and the spirit of the club.

Technical Architecture, Integrations, and Performance

The platform was developed with WordPress, designed and implemented to respond to the specific needs of a busy sports institution: content management for multiple sections, calendar of activities, news, service information and internal communication tools. A robust and easy-to-maintain solution for the club’s internal team.

The Club Natació Atlètic Barceloneta website is a complex communication ecosystem: constant updates of activities, competitions and news from the various sports sections, management of a large volume of multimedia content and an architecture designed to grow and adapt to the changing needs of a living and active institution. All integrated into a stable, secure and high-performance platform.

Market launch and validation

The website is the club’s main digital communication asset: the point of reference for members, families and athletes who want to keep up to date with all activities. Digital renewal has significantly increased community engagement and has facilitated communication between the club and its members.
